Registration fee is waived for the one of the student authors of the accepted manuscripts.

Participants (other than invited speakers and one of the student authors of the accepted manuscripts) have to send a draft of Rs. 500/-, in favour of “SACET09”, payable at Kolkata, before October 10, 2009.

Following are the categories of the persons who can participate in SACET09:

Undergraduate students:

By submission of manuscript which will be shortlisted by the secretariat of                  SACET09.

Faculty of Educational Institutes:

Through nomination by their head of the Institution.

Officers from different Institutions of DAE:

Through submission of manuscript shortlisted by SACET09 and/or through nomination by their competent authority.

Invited Speakers:

         Speakers invited for oral presentation  by the SACET09 Organizing Committee.

Q. I am an undergraduate student, what is the registration fee for me?

Only to-and-fro train fare (2^nd class sleeper) will be paid to one of the student authors of the accepted manuscripts, between Kolkata and the nearest railway station of the college of the student, on production of railway tickets in original. No DA will be provided. For students, free accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided from October 27, 2009 evening to October 30, 2009 Morning in VECC/SINP Guest House.

Q. What are the various categories of accommodations available?

Accommodation can be booked in VECC/SINP Guest House or different hotels as specified above, through the secretariat of SACET09. The relevant columns in the registration form must be filled clearly for this purpose. Advance as mentioned in the registration form must be remitted  to the secretariat at the earliest.

Q. How to book an accommodation?

Cancellation charges for hotel accommodation will be as per rules of the respective hotels.

Q. What are the Cancellation Charges for hotel accommodation?

Accommodation in VECC and SINP Guest house will be reserved for the period:

                 October 27, 2009, afternoon ------ October 30, 2009, forenoon.

Q. What is the format of the manuscript to be submitted?

To-and-fro transportation facility will be provided between VECC and hotels which are booked through the secretariat of SACET09 only. This facility will not be provided for hotels other than those in the list provided.

Q. Whether any to-and-fro transportation facility is provided between the hotel and VECC?

Yes, pickup and dropping will be provided between VECC and Kolkata Airport only. However no such facility is extended for Railway Stations.

Please note that there is a prepaid taxi counter at the Railway Stations and you have to take a taxi for Baishakhi/CAP Camp, Saltlake. Fare will be around Rs.150/-.
